Dr. Courtland Wyatt, DPT
Dr. Courtland Wyatt is a proud United States Army veteran who served honorably during the Gulf War in Operation Desert Storm. While in the military, he was recognized as the Distinguished Honor Graduate of his class—a testament to his discipline, leadership, and dedication to excellence.
Following his service, Dr. Wyatt pursued his passion for helping others through rehabilitation. He earned a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Howard University and later completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Alabama State University. With advanced training and a commitment to evidence-based care, Dr. Wyatt founded ACES Physical Therapy with one mission: to provide the highest standard of hands-on, personalized therapy to restore function, reduce pain, and help patients return to the activities they love.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Wyatt is a respected leader in the physical therapy profession and the business community. He serves as the Treasurer of the American Academy of Physical Therapy (AAPT), a national non-profit dedicated to reducing health disparities in underserved communities through scholarships, mentorship, wellness programs, and education. He also sits on the Board of Directors for Corporate Huddle, guiding retired professional athletes in their transition to entrepreneurship.
As a published author, keynote speaker, and seminar presenter both nationally and abroad, Dr. Wyatt frequently shares his expertise on rehabilitation, leadership, and health equity. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Howard University, George Washington University, and Montgomery Community College, helping shape the next generation of physical therapists.
